Our Beginning
Some stories begin in boardrooms or classrooms. Mine began with a problem my mother was determined to solve.
More than twenty years ago, she developed allergies to store-bought skincare, reactions to synthetic fragrances, dyes, and harsh additives that were hiding in almost everything on the shelves. Instead of giving up, she looked for a remedy… and that search led us into the world of natural skincare.
What started as a simple attempt to help her skin quickly turned into something much bigger. Together, we experimented with essential oils, plant butters, clays, and herbs. Learning how to create products that were gentle, clean, and nourishing. That journey became our small business, Bianco Moon Soap & Bath Company.
We ran that business for five years, long before “clean beauty” was a trend. Back then, it wasn’t marketing. It wasn’t branding. It was simply something we loved, creating honest, handmade products that made people feel cared for.
A Return to Ritual
Life moved in different directions, but my love for skincare and the ritual of creating never left me… Over the last year and a half, physical and mental wellness has become a deeply personal part of my life. Slowing down. Healing. Being intentional with what goes on my skin and what is part of my routine. And somewhere in that process, I felt something calling me back.
Back to the craft. Back to the simplicity. Back to the part of myself I never outgrew.
Modern Ritual by Naomi is not something I created on a whim. it’s a return to what I’ve always known, always loved, and always been passionate about. It’s a continuation of the work my mom and I started decades ago, elevated with a modern, minimalist, soft-luxury approach that reflects who I am now.
Every formula is thoughtfully designed using clean ingredients, essential oils, select skin safe fragrance oils, colorants, and pure plant-based butters — handmade in small batches, just like they were back then. Each ingredient is chosen with intention and transparency, no unnecessary fillers. No shortcuts. Just honest, mindful formulation.
Modern Ritual is more than skincare. It’s a way of living. A softer, slower, more grounded approach to caring for yourself. A reminder that everyday moments can be sacred when you treat them like ritual. With each product, my hope is that you feel pampered, supported, and connected, not just to your skin, but to your wellbeing.

A Note from Naomi
Hi, I’m Naomi, the heart behind Modern Ritual.
My journey with natural skincare began over twenty years ago with my mom, in our small business Bianco Moon Soap & Bath Company. She made beautiful handmade soaps, and I created the body butters, oils, scrubs, and botanical skincare products. Those years taught me the beauty of simplicity, the importance of clean ingredients, and the joy of creating something with my own hands. That passion never left me.
In recent years, as I leaned into a more intentional, grounded wellness journey, slowing down, reconnecting with myself, and healing. I felt that familiar pull back to the craft. Modern Ritual is the return to that passion: a blend of heritage, modern wellness, and the soft, quiet luxury that inspires me today.
Every product is made with care and intention. My hope is that each one becomes a gentle moment of peace in your day, a pause, a breath, and most importantly a ritual.
